Hello
Fiesta is great software, I love it, but it has one problem with text. Fiesta renders correctly English text, however it renders Arabic text incorrect. It’s looking that text flow from left to right and all characters are separated, but Arabic text must written from right to left and all charactes should be visually attached to the same character.
I naturally use arabic text in my shows, it’s large handicap for me.
Is possible write arabic text by different way as by text effect? Thanks
Hasan

We know this bug (look “Timeline known bugs” in blog https://www.showtacle.com/new-fiesta-for-mac-1-0-81-released/).
We are now working on fix it, we will release version with fix it at end of this year.
If you need urgently write arabic text now before new version released, you can temporary draw manually it in editor, where you can use background as image that contains your arabic text and you can draw outlines from image.January 26, 2021 at 10:21 am #3044Hello Marek
I’m still waiting for release new version, that fix arabic text. You wrote “we will release version with fix it at end of this year.”, but I don’t found any new version on website.

We are sorry for your waiting, but the fixing rendering of arabic text was more complicated than we originally expected.
Today a new version has just been released, that fix arabic text and add a couple new featuresBest regards,

Arabic is rendered correctly, but i found scrolling issue.
I created scrolling text that move text right to left. It’s correct for many languages like english, but scrolling arabic text should move from left to right, because arabic text direction is reverted compared to english.
Is any solution in Fiesta how to make scrolling text from left to right?thank you in advance for your answer

Just select Invert X for phase of text:
1, by double click on text open graph window
2, select phase
3, by right mouse button down open the context menu
4, select Invert XPhase is plot that control speed and direction of moving text.
Best regards,
